Centre County Prescription Discount Card
The Centre County Commissioners in a joint effort with the National Association of Counties (NACo) is proud to present the Centre County Prescription Discount Card. This card is available to all Centre County residents. It provides savings on prescription drugs that are not covered by insurance. There is no enrollment form, no membership fee, and no cost to the County.
Simply present your card at a participating retail pharmacy and save an average of 20% on your prescription drugs.
- No Limits
You and your family may use your prescription discount card any time your prescription is not covered by insurance. There are no restrictions and no limits on how many times you may use your card.
- Extra Savings
As part of this program you will also be eligible for higher discounts on select medications, as well as high-tech and injectable drugs. AvailabilityCards are available at the Commissioners' Office, Aging Office, Senior Centers, MH/ID/D&A, Children & Youth Services, Adult Services, District Judges' Offices, Veterans Administration, Food Banks, Center for Volunteers in Medicine, and Community Action Sites or by calling 355-6768.
Cardholder information remains confidential and is not resold to a third-party for any reason. Caremark negotiates with retail pharmacies to offer discounts off retail prices at the point of purchase. Any rebates received by Caremark are reflected in increased discounts with the consumer. The pharmacy is reimbursed for this additional discount.
